NOTE:  GRANT APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED EITHER ELECTRONICALLY, BY MAIL OR HAND DELIVERY BY FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2008 AT 5:00PM.

Applications must be submitted using the on line application generator or typed and mailed or hand delivered, however, no faxed or e-mailed applications will be accepted.

Applications must be received not later than 5:00 PM, May 30, 2008.  Applications received after May 30, 2008, will be ineligible for consideration and will be returned.

Only one proposal may be submitted per teacher.  Project applicant must be a teacher in grades K-12 in a public school district within the OG&E or Enogex service territory.  Visit www.oge.com for a complete list of OG&E and Enogex communities served.  The applicant must be involved with the project from start to finish.

Proposal must include:

Clear and well defined goals
   
Evidence of advancement of skills for knowledge in science, math or reading
   
Established need for project
   
Number of students who will benefit
   
Detailed budget
   
Adequate provisions for project evaluation
   
How it will enrich and augment the curriculum rather than take the place of a district funded project.


Not Eligible for Consideration:


Grants will not be awarded to fund:  seminars, workshops, teacher or staff salaries, trips for teachers or staff, camps, competitions, field trips, reducing or eliminating debt, purchase or maintenance of computer hardware, honoraria or capital improvement projects or advertising.
