OG&E's Time-of-Use rate rewards you for decreasing usage during peak demand hours in the summer. From June through September, you'll receive a much lower rate during off-peak hours but pay a higher rate during our peak load hours (times vary according to your rate class) - excluding weekends and holidays. Customers that can dramatically reduce their electric usage during on-peak hours can save 20%-30% on their monthly bill. During the winter season, Time-of-Use customers revert to our standard rates.
