OG&E Wind Power Request for Proposals


Dear Prospective Bidders:
OG&E Electric Services has elected to solicit bids for a nominal 80 Megawatt Wind Energy Purchase Agreement, to serve native load, under a Request for Proposals (RFP). Bidders are advised that any Wind Energy Purchase Agreement (WEPA) awarded will be subject to review and acceptance by of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and other regulatory entities. The information required to prepare a proposal and gain consideration for this Agreement is posted at the bottom of this web page in four following downloadable files:
  1. RFP Document in .PDF format
  2. Proposal Submission Forms in Microsoft Word format - with the exception of:
  3. Form F which is in Microsoft Excel format
  4. A model Wind Energy Purchase Agreement (WEPA) in .PDF format (.PDF files require a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader)
Each file should be downloaded for use in the preparation of a proposal. Bidders are directed to carefully read the RFP document for detailed instructions on how to prepare a proposal prior to submitting any questions to OG&E.
In addition, starting on Monday December 27, OG&E will post a .PDF document on OG&E’s Wind Power web site that will contain bidder’s questions and OG&E’s responses. It is the responsibility of each bidder to monitor the posted Q&A document for any clarifications regarding this RFP or any of its attachments.   All questions must be submitted in writing and should be directed to windpowerrfp@OGE.com .  This document will be updated from time to time in the event there are new questions submitted.
The deadline for proposal submission is 5 p.m., January 28, 2005. If you choose to participate in this process, we look forward to evaluating your proposal.
