Whether you’re a homeowner or business, please follow these steps before construction or digging begins to ensure the utmost safety standards are followed on your project.

In Oklahoma: Call Okie 811 or 800.522.6543 (Oklahoma One Call System). When you have completed your locate request, Call-Okie will notify the Oklahoma One-Call members in your area that you will soon be digging. Within 48 hours (2 business days), they will mark the location of their lines. This is a FREE SERVICE. There is NO CHARGE to the excavator or homeowner.

In Arkansas: Call 811 or ARKONE 800.482.8998 (Arkansas One Call System) and speak with a professional customer service representative. AOC takes calls 24/7. To ensure your after-hours emergencies are handled as quickly as possible, please call in your normal-locate requests between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm.

• Call 48 hours in advance if at all possible.
• Respect the marks (1½ ft on either side of the spot)
• Dig with care.  Most underground conductors are to be 40 inches below grade, but since construction, erosion, and landscaping can cause the depth to change, use a hand shovel until you identify the conductor.  There should be a red barrier tape with black letters installed in the sand backfill about 6-8 inches above the conductor.
