Our SmartHours program helps you save on your energy bills by offering lower prices when you shift your electricity use to off-peak times (19 hours a day, weekends, and holidays). By changing your energy habits and using less electricity during peak hours (Mon-Fri 2 p.m. to 7p.m.), you can enjoy significant savings. Plus, you'll be helping to protect the electric grid and the environment. This past summer, SmartHours customers reduced the need for OG&E to buy or produce more expensive power, resulting in an estimated $7 million in savings for all.
