There are also community resources available to help, including Lend-a-Hand and Low-Income Assistance Programs (LIAP) for Oklahoma and Arkansas.  Those who qualify for LIAP receive a $13 monthly credit on their energy bill.

We offer a Silver Energy discount for customers 65+ years young. 

Oklahoma seniors age 65+ who enroll in any SmartHours plan qualify for a $10 monthly credit, June through October and a $5 monthly credit for all other months of the year. That's $85 in savings each year on top of a lower price for 19 hours each weekday and all day on weekends, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day. In Oklahoma, the Home Efficiency Program is offered at no additional cost to all residential customers who own or lease a single-family, duplex, or mobile home and have a household income of less than $60,000 a year. In Arkansas, the program is offered at no additional cost to all residential customers whose homes are more than 10 years old.
