We all need a warm, safe place to rest at the end of the day. OG&E employees recently volunteered for United Way of Central Oklahoma's Day of Caring to help prepare bed space for the people they serve.
United Way partner agency The Homeless Alliance is prepping extra space as more people experiencing homelessness look for a warm place to escape the winter cold. Our employees helped put together 50 bunk beds that will be used for 150 nights during the winter - opportunities for 15,000 bed nights to keep our most vulnerable neighbors warm.
Our team put their work construction skills to work for this important organization - creating additional space for people to sleep and rest.
