OG&E and the Girl Scouts are sprinkling a little joy in OKC! OG&E volunteers packed 1,200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies that the Company donated to Meals on Wheels, making sure the city's seniors get a tasty treat with their meals.

“We are delighted to collaborate with local community partners to tackle food and hunger challenges facing older adults,” said OG&E Manager of Community Outreach and Engagement Kelli Walsh. “Beyond supporting the elderly, this donation allows us to invest in our youth. We are dedicated to providing resources that enhance lives and supporting both children and seniors in our state.”

It's a win-win: the Girl Scouts get a boost for their leadership programs, and Meals on Wheels clients get a delicious surprise. This summer alone, OG&E volunteers have delivered more than 1,500 meals. We love partnering with the Girl Scouts to serve up smiles one cookie at a time!
