Supply Chain Strategy

We develop and manage a supply base that makes our company and our customers more successful. We make purchasing decisions based on the best total cost of ownership value, and we consider quality, service level, cost, and safety. The Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council has recognized OG&E as the Corporation of the Year multiple times for our continued support in diversity supplier development.

Qualification Process

Potential suppliers complete a detailed qualification process to ensure the relationship is a good fit for both parties. Our suppliers should commit to excellence, minimize supply risks, meet insurance requirements, and be financially and operationally stable, among other qualifications.
