Supply Chain Strategy

We develop and manage a supply base that makes our company and our customers more successful. We make purchasing decisions based on the best total cost of ownership value, and we consider quality, service level, cost, and safety. The Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council has recognized OG&E as the Corporation of the Year multiple times for our continued support in diversity supplier development.

Qualification Process

Potential suppliers complete a detailed qualification process to ensure the relationship is a good fit for both parties. Our suppliers should commit to excellence, minimize supply risks, meet insurance requirements, and be financially and operationally stable, among other qualifications.

Contractor Safety

To aid us in managing and ensuring contractor safety, we have enlisted the services of ISNetworld, which collects, organizes and centralizes our contractors’ insurance, safety statistics and compliance programs. Review our requirements for contractor safety in the Contractor Reference Guide. Identification requirements to enter OGE Energy Corp. locations can be found in Buyer's Form 9000050.
