If you want a career in energy, an OG&E internship is a great place to start.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, we have suspended hiring at this time. We encourage you to complete a job agent so we have your information in our system. Please continue to check back regularly for opportunities, which we'll post as conditions in our service area improve.
At OG&E, we want to attract the next generation of bright leaders. That’s why we provide internships to students across various fields of study, exposing them to real life situations in their chosen fields. If you are considering an energy career, OG&E is a great place to start.
We offer a variety of internships in many areas of study. Our internships will help you build skills that can take you to the next level in your career. They'll also give you valuable, real-life experience in the utility industry.
As an OG&E intern, you'll have a summer filled with fun and exciting activities. These include field trips to one of our wind farms and chances to volunteer in our community. Your internship will end with an Internship Fair. Here you can share with OG&E members and fellow interns what you have learned during your internship.
We hope you’ll choose OG&E for your summer internship and perhaps your career. Check our job listings often for openings. We can't wait to meet you and work with you!
We're proud to partner with universities across our service area to offer academic scholarships to talented individuals. We most recently awarded the OMRF Fleming Scholarship to Oklahoma Baptist University sophomore Matthew Anderson (pictured above). OMRF’s Fleming Scholar Program has served as a launching pad for hundreds of Oklahoma students seeking science-based careers. Since it began in 1956, scores of Fleming Scholars have gone on to establish successful medical and research careers.
