When the Power Goes Out

Learn how to report your outage to OG&E.

If your power goes out, be sure to notify us. We have many ways you can report your outage:

  • Online (must be signed in to your account)
  • By calling 405-272-9595 (Oklahoma City) or 800-522-6870 (all other areas)
  • You can also send a text message to OG&E to report an outage. Sign up for myOGEalerts to get started. Once you're signed up, save the number 32001 in your phone for future use. When your power is out, you'll simply text OUT to that number to report your outage. With myOGEalerts, you’ll receive updates on your outage via text, email or by phone and you can always change your preferences.

You can still check out System Watch for updates, too.

Be aware that you may see crews in your yard or around your home as they work to resolve your power issue. To help control the spread of COVID-19, we’ve instructed our employees to maintain social distancing with you and request you honor their safety and yours by not approaching them as they do their important work. 

Report a Streetlight outage

You can report a streetlight outage using our online form or by calling Customer Service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at 405-272-9741 (Oklahoma City) or 800-272-9741 (all other areas). We’ll do our best to get it working as quickly as possible.
