e-SMARTkids
30,000 students in grades K-6 receive an OG&E e-SMARTkids booklet with educational materials about electricity, energy, and how to use it safely and wisely through information, games, and activities.

Preserving Habitat
More than 500 bald eagles now call Oklahoma home, including our Sooner Lake and Horseshoe Lake power plants through innovative measures in our Avian Protection Plan.

Glams
We sponsor and participate in the University of Oklahoma (OU) Women in Engineering GLAMS (Girls Learning and Applying Math and Science) introducing middle school girls to careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our employees join in on the fun and share their experiences with attendees while helping them learn more about careers in STEM.

The OKC Thunder
The OG&E ThunderBolt offers fans at local festivals, school celebrations, and more an opportunity to engage in an interactive, Thunder-themed experience to learn about energy efficiency. In addition, we join forces throughout the season to recognize local emergency personnel as OG&E Safety Partners. These individuals exemplify our core values while protecting and serving on the front lines in our communities.

Scissortail Pollinator Garden
Working with Scissortail Park, we're raising awareness about the important role pollinators play in our ecosystem. Our partnership includes new plantings throughout the park and signage to highlight pollinator plants and the insects and animals involved in the pollination process.

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful
OG&E is a founding member of Keep Oklahoma Beautiful and we continue to support the organization's mission. Every year, we provide small grants to Oklahoma communities to help jump-start their Great American Clean-Up projects.
