We’re always finding creative ways to reduce our environmental impact. This year, our distribution wire spools were repurposed by the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Gardens for use by the goats in the Children’s Zoo. The goats enjoy climbing and relaxing on the spools.
We are partnered with the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Gardens to supply animal dietary components collected through regular vegetation management activities. Vegetation "browse" material is used to supplement food resources for zoo animals, including Asian elephants, giraffes, and Western lowland gorillas. Our vegetation management team has made more than 170 deliveries of browse to the zoo, donating more than 2.4 million pounds of resources.
