Living Our Core Values
We believe in giving back and making sure we offer affordable and reliable energy service for all. That’s why we offer our own programs and also partner with state and local organizations to meet the needs of our communities.
Providing Assistance to People Who Need It Most
The services we provide are critical to our communities. Our broad set of programs and partnerships ensure that all of our customers can access services when they need them.
Energy Efficient Homes
We’ve helped over 40,000 customers lower their energy bills thanks to our Weatherization Program.
Our customers have donated more than $300,000 in bill assistance to customers who need help through our Lend-a-Hand program.
Through our longstanding commitment to health and social service agencies across our service area, we’ve provided more than $1.3 million in critical support to our communities.
Supporting Our Neighbors
Since 1986, our Lend-A-Hand program has helped OG&E customers give back to the community by adding a few dollars to their payment. Through our partnership with the Salvation Army, OG&E customers’ Lend-A-Hand contributions are disbursed to help pay for electricity, gas, fuel or firewood for our neighbors who need a helping hand.
Our most experienced customers – those 60+ years-young – can take advantage of our Silver Energy Program, a suite of offerings, services and partnerships designed to increase comfort, safety and security for seniors while saving them money on their energy bills.
Reducing energy costs while increasing energy efficiency through our weatherization services is a win-win for the communities we serve. Learn more about how OG&E’s Weatherization Program benefits low- and fixed-income customers.
Low Income Assistance Program
Our Low-Income Assistance Program (LIAP) gives qualified Oklahoma customers a $13 per month credit on their bill. Customers must be qualified for the federally funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
